I am a director, choreographer and performer with solid background in theatre and dance and education in Brazil and in The USA, especialized in Musical Theatre. As an art educator, I teach courses and workshops in schools with formation in dance and musical theatre, where I also direct and choreograph some school productions.  Besides that, I also work as judge and teacher in dance festivals internationally. 

 

I was the resident director of the Brazilian productions of We Will Rock You, In the Heights and Se Eu Fosse Voce (an original Brazilian musical). I also worked in Nice Work if You Can Get It, Sweet Charity, West Side Story and Evita as cast member and as Dance Captain/Swing in Priscilla - Queen of the Desert and My Fair Lady. Most recently I choreographed the musicals Rock of Ages, The Workd Goes 'Round, Castelo Ra-Tim-Bum - O Musical and Bare - A Pop Opera, all of them in Brazil.

Exploring other areas of the performing arts, I was an artist in residency at The Watermill Center, directed by Bob Wilson, and I was the director of the Dance & Site-Specific Center at Cambio de Imaginadores. I also created and developed the bible of moves and choreography for the Live Experience of the Cartoon Network characters and create performances used in their marketing events. I also develop artistic solutions in dance and theatre for coorporative events.
